How do i but a car not from a dealership?.?

2000 can get you a vary good used car from a person never go to a dealer they all lie and you get ripped off you also have to pay taxes for a car at a dealer but not a person the only good from buying a car from a dealer is they cant sell you lemons (legally they still do if its profitable) but just go to criegslist and search your city you can also bring the car to a mecanic to have him so an inspection if you don't know anything about cars if the party doesn't want you to do that then i wouldn't buy that car
