What do you think of NOW's position on violence against women?

They have some points, but it's pretty general, and not all of society's attitudes toward women are negative, nor does all of society try to "keep women in their place". But I agree that the hostile and dismissive attitude toward human life that permeates many societies certainly doesn't help.
