How does increase in pollution cause the ozone layer to deplete? examples of human causes and explantion.?

Aerosol sprays and refridgerators contain gases called CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons) or HFCs (hydrofluorocarbons). These are both very stable molecules in the troposphere (where we live). However, ozone absorbs UV radiation via a radical chain reaction. Ozone is continually destroyed and reformed as part of a cycle. When CFC gases reach the ozone layer, they become unstable and halt the process of ozone reformation in the cycle. This results in less ozone overall in the ozone layer, which reduces its ability to absorb UV radiation, which pes through and is a contributary cause to skin cancers.
