There is a proposed FDA ban in 2011 for Gulf Coast oysters: too much government meddling?

In your opinion, should liberty trump safety or safety trump liberty? Maybe next time they'll ban something you enjoy in the name of public safety ( i.e., cigarettes,chocolate, Big Macs).
