How could a loving God torture even one soul for all of eternity?

God made it very easy to enter heaven, in fact he gave us two ways, by following the law or accepting the sacrifice of his son on the cross. God does not cast us into hell we do it to ourselves. We choose to separate ourselves from him. If we make that choice willingly in how we lead our lives then who are we to complain when time is up and it is too late to apologize. Its not like he didn't warn us. The rules have been posted for 3500 years and if you were too lazy. too proud or too defiant to check them out then thats your own look out.
